Actually both are very important to each other, You can't imagine a trip without Food and also if you will going to get some tasty food outside then it will makes you to go far like sometimes more then 20 kms.
If you will ask anybody that what is their favorite food they will always suggest you a point which is much far from their residential area.
So now Lets talk about TRAVEL. Travel/spending vacation is very important for everybody, it reduces your daily home/workplace stress and tension. According to Research in many countries everybody plans at-least 2 trips in an Year. So the main part of your plan is a TRAVEL AGENT.
Term Travel agent! it means an agent who helps/make your travel like convince/hotel stay and transport for sightseeing/visits and also for food.
So it is hard to Choose a good travel agent even you know in Online market there are 5% Agents are Still frauds apart from 100% so if you will not choose a good travel agent, then your trip may spoiled.
It is very easy to choose a travel agent. Like if you are finding outside like online, then there are many options, but main thing is that if a travel agent belongs from XYZ company then you should check reviews of those company on google review/tripadvisor/Mountshut/Sitezabber/Glassdor/yelp and many more. If there are 70% of travelers are satisfied then it is easy to go with them because nobody is perfect even i am and you. because sometimes reviews are bad due to hotel service/transport service which doesn't created by a travel agent. Sometimes travel agent's guest are creating issues as this world is included with two types of peoples, one is good, and second is bad, good peoples can be satisfied by good things, but bad peoples huh, you even cant satisfied them even with excellent services.
Next thing is, if your Plan is too near then immediate book package (If you are booking for fixed departure) and if your holiday plan is customize then after making 2 or 3 customization you should have to stop on 1 point where you should have to make it like flight/train bookings.
Never under estimate a travel agent, like ask them smartly but dont go with over smart. because a travel agent is a professional if he is suggesting you something then it is your turn to listen them and if it allows your criteria then you can do that.
ALWAYS ASK FOR DISCOUNT
yes this is your right to ask for discount all time (not applicable for fix departures sometimes). They will give you best things but dont ask for double discount then maybe services will effected.
Always check your hotels suggested by Agent on like Tripadvisor/glassdor etc. always check positive and negative both things, sometimes negative things can tell u about many things like location( but not about services of hotels) if reviews are 70% good (minimum) then it will fine.
Always ask picture of transport (cabs).
Be Smart, carry only those things which are important for you.
Drivers are the main part of your travel. They will treat you like family so this is your responsibility also to return back. if they will suggest you something then listen them. if it is important then you can do that or if you feel that they are looking for their profit then look for another options.
POST REVIEW.
Many travelers are not posting their review who gets very memorable trip. but always do that. After getting satisfaction on your trip always post review and mention company and agent name and help others too to get and in touch with good peoples.
